                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 7400
                   BLOCK OF LEE HIGHWAY, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST
                   LINE OF LEE HIGHWAY AT SILVERDALE ROAD FROM R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE TO M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at Lots 1 and 2, Pine Crest
                Park Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 39, page 321, R.O.H.C., and unplatted
                tract; being the properties described in deed book
                3060, page 415, R.O.H.C., and deed book 3431, page
                941, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 139J-C-1 and 2.1 (Part).
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone and C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone 
to
         M-2 Light Industrial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Construction of a six (6) foot wooden sight-obscuring 

                   fence along Silverdale Road.
        
              2.   No access to Silverdale Road.
        
              3.   Subject to proposed use only.
        
              4.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
